Abstract
To provide a useful and flexible monitoring system with a sensor network in agricultural fields, we have proposed an Open Field Server that users can obtain, customize, deploy, operate and utilize without specialized experience. We have developed the Field Server Classic as a standard version based on the Open Field Server concept. In this paper, we describe how the Field Server Classic is made, what knowledge is needed to manage it smoothly and effectively, and the latest support tools and applications in practical fields.
