Abstract :
In such recent trends, research on grasping, understanding, and designing social systems as System-of-Systems (SoS) has attracted attention as a promising research field. We have been researching into relationality design and relationality-oriented systems in which we try to understand, grasp systems as a substance in which humans, tangible and intangible artifacts are interdependent ad function together. In the sense, SoS and relationality-oriented systems share the concept, and then it goes without saying that relationality between the system as well as elements in a system is important in SoS. This paper discusses how we design relationality in a local community as SoS through some kind of constructive approach. One of the research issues should be how to model the boundary of a system and the boundary control for interactions between systems in SoS.
