Abstract
Recently, various types of advanced driving assistance systems have been introduced to automobiles. Among them, parking assistance systems require accurate estimates on vehicle running paths when they are used in narrow areas found in packed urban cities. To generate vehicle running paths, gyroscopes are often used for yaw rate measurement. In this research, we replace it with a pair of Doppler radars to estimate the running paths accurately.
