Abstract :
Recent advances in the computation of the skewed structured singular value /spl mu/ are described. Skewed /spl mu/ measures the worst case H/sub /spl infin// norm of a linear system under norm-bounded structured uncertainty. Like /spl mu/, skewed /spl mu/ can not be computed exactly; an upper bound is computed via a quasi-convex optimization problem. An efficient power algorithm for the lower bound is developed.
