Abstract :
Transient thermal design is a key technology in miniaturization of switching power supply with intermittent operating mode or frequent overload condition. Based on capacitor charging power supply the transient thermal design technology was researched and the goal was to achieve the miniaturization of capacitor charging power supply. In the paper the losses of main heating devices were calculated and their heating designs were done. A 30kW/7kV capacitor charging power supply was development and its power density is 1.4MW/m3.
