Abstract :
More and more harmonic sources generated by non-linear load have been dump into the distribution system, resulting serious distortion of the supply voltage. Single-phase full bridge rectifier with capacity for the filtering has been used a lot in low-voltage distribution system. This paper presents a new time and frequency-domain harmonic model to calculate the harmonic voltage on DC side and harmonic current on AC side in single-phase rectifier circuit. Based on the uncontrolled bridge rectifier circuit, the new time-domain model gives out the precise calculating equations of AC side harmonic current. By considering the interrelationship between the harmonic voltage and the harmonic current, a more refined and accurate model based on frequency domain has been proposed. There is no approximate treatment in the time and frequency-domain model. The simulation results show the new model is more accurate and practical.
