Abstract
In this paper, adaptive rate random binning code is developed for point-to-point (P2P) delay constrained source streaming. We study the error exponent, which measures the asymptotic rate at which the error probability decays with delay. An achievable lower bound of error exponent is derived. Numerical results show that the proposed adaptive rate random binning code achieves a better exponent than the existing fixed-length (FL) random binning code.
