Automatic localization of epileptic seizures as a symptom of brain tumor

Epilepsy is the most wide-spread disease of the brain diagnosed by EEG. Generalized epileptic seizures can be one of the symptoms of brain tumors. There are a number of algorithms for automatic localization of epileptic graphoelements. We will further deal with three following methods: simple arithmetic detector, median filtering, the combined application of simple arithmetic detector and median filtering. In the clinical practice the selection of computing speed is important for each method.
