Abstract :
Wireless sensor unit is vital part of the Internet of Things, which is applied for signal acquisition and transmission. Electromagnetic disturbance issue in substation where wireless sensor unit is located is studied, in order to ensure reliability and security of the Internet of Things. Through field measurements, research on characteristics of steady-state electromagnetic disturbance in substations of different voltage levels and of different insulation types is performed. Simulation of electromagnetic disturbance and location of electrical equipment is applied to reveal influence on communication quality of wireless sensor unit.
