Abstract
Studies of a beam shape changes due to structural deformations caused by gravity and wind of the large radio telescope are performed by means of a set of 3D numerical models. Electromagnetic (EM) fields in Cassegrain-like reflector configuration are modeled by in-house developed a boundary element solver. The deformed shape of the main reflector and displacements/rotations of the subreflector are obtained by interpolation of deformations of a structural frame. Finite Element (FE) Analysis approach is used for resolution of deformations of the structural frame as a functional of applied loads.
