            Abstract : 
In this paper a novel and fast algorithm of transmit antenna selection in multiuser MIMO system is proposed which is based on block diagonalization as a precoding technique to cancel inter-user initerference. The proposed algorithm adopts the projection on the null of perpendicular effective channel as a performance metric. Simulation results show that our algorithm achieves very close to the optimum algorithm with lower complexity and shorter time consumption when applied in multiuser MIMO system with a large array of transmit antennas.
