Abstract :
Over the past few decades, MIMO-OFDM (Multiple Input Multiple Output - Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system has become a very interesting, famous and challenging technique in a wireless environment. Once with the evolution of technology and requests for high speed communications, MIMO-OFDM systems offer: inter symbol interferences reduction (ISI), higher data rates, a very high reliability and a performance very good in multipath fading environment. In this paper it is described a Matlab based approach for comparing the performances of MIMO-OFDM system over different fading channels like AWGN, Rayleigh or Rician fading by analyzing various parameters such as : BER, SNR, Eb/No.
