Abstract :
In modern data communication network sending digital signal is a major issue. The signal sent from Wearable System for long-term Electrocardiogram (ECG) Monitoring, may not be received properly by the receiver because of noise corruption. This systems which mainly consist of a wearable acquisition device, a mobile gadget, and a healthcare server, are the proposed architectures in most cases. The generated signals needs Denoising processes before it can be used for diagnosis. Noise reduction involves the manipulation of different filtering type to obtain a high quality ECG signal. The paper will present various type of noises such as: Power line interference, Electrode contact noise, Motion artifacts, Muscle contraction, Baseline Wander(BW), EMG from the chest wall, Instrumentation noise, and different noise reduction techniques such Filtering approach, Wavelet approach and other filtering techniques for removing the noise present in the ECG signal. Wireless communication technique, Mobility and Flexibility, Low-Power consumption, Local Processing, Encoding Capabilities and Miniaturization are essential requirement.
