Abstract :
This paper discusses the problem of detecting wearable RF devices used in elderly care. Events such as blood sugar level drop, or physical fall of the elderly person, are stochastic events and are digitally recorded and/or broadcast to a monitoring system through home. The stochastic nature of the events and independence of the digital broadcast for different events are exploited here to allow localization of the RF devices upon occurrences of events using multiple signal classification approach for stochastically-active source localization.
