Abstract :
This work proposes a new design technique to obtain multi notch function in an UWB response of a printed monopole antenna using rotational split ring resonators(SRRs). SRRs with rotated inner rings are inductively coupled to the CPW feed of the antenna. The relative angular variation of the SRR rings control the notch functions. The design is validated using an EM simulator. Experiments are underway and measured results will be presented.
