Abstract :
In this paper, we present a novel design of a single feed large frequency ratio dual-frequency microstrip patch antenna with orthogonal linear polarizations. In order to achieve large frequency ratio, two microstrip wings were set on both sides of the main patch, which connects with the help of PIN diodes. The PIN diodes also help improve cross polarization discrimination at the high frequency band. Additional results will be presented during the symposium.
