Abstract :
In this contribution, we report our results about the design of metamaterial-inspired particles that can be integrated directly inside horn antennas to perform reciprocal and nonreciprocal manipulation of the received/transmitted signals. Depending on the specific inclusion, we show that the proposed solutions perform different operations on the electromagnetic signal such as: band-pass or notch filtering, polarization transformation, and signal isolation.
