Abstract :
Electromagnetic shielding materials are generally used to suppress electromagnetic radiation. This paper presents an approach for the measurement of shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding materials. Electromagnetic field probes were designed in the paper and the test system was built based on microstrip line. The S21 parameters of two plane sample were measured by using the test system from 10 MHz to 3 GHz. The tests show that the test system can be used to estimate the shielding effectiveness of plate materials conveniently.
