Abstract :
A novel Frequency Selective Surface composed of the intersection of the combination between a cone-shaped structure and rectangle is presented. The proposed 3D Frequency Selective Surface contains high frequency PIN Diodes which allow the reconfiguration of the transmission and reflection coefficients of the electromagnetic window in two frequencies bands of 1.45 GHz and 2.45 GHz. The design results obtained from the CST simulation software show that the proposed 3D-FSS can provide a reconfigurable frequency for the unit cell which can be used in electromagnetic switched beam antennas or in building applications.
