Abstract :
A miniaturized dipole antenna is presented for implantation applications. The proposed antenna consists of two folded arms which are connected through a conductive plate. Whole antenna dimension is 7×9 mm2 and suitable for ISM 2450MHz application. Both theoretical study and practical measurements indicate that the proposed antenna has low specific absorption rate and preserves the primary characteristics from tissue.
