  • Abstract
    A solution for conformal ultra-high frequency (UHF) antennas based on cavity backed slot and integrated with the solar panels of a cube satellite (CubeSat) is presented. Designs for both uplink (485-MHz), and downlink (500-MHz) with polarizations are explained. The antennas promise excellent performance and resolve one of the biggest challenges in CubeSat communications.
