Abstract
The adaptive integral method (AIM) in conjunction with the asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) technique is utilized to deal with broadband electromagnetic problems of surface-wire junction geometries in this paper. The method of moments (MoM) is applied to the surface-wire integral equation (SWIE). And currents on conductor and wire surfaces are expanded by Padé approximant with respect to frequency to achieve fast frequency sweeping. The AIM is employed to reduce computation time and storage of higher-order derivatives of impedance matrices in the AWE. Numerical results show good efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.
