Abstract :
In this paper, stability analysis of time-domain finite element method (TDFEM) for 3D electromagnetic (EM) radiation problems is discussed. Firstly, non-linear temporal basis functions are utilized for fully discrete systems in terms of good interpolation feature. Furthermore, the Routh-Hurwitz Stability Criterion is applied to determine whether a TDFEM formulation is stable. Finally, numerical results were demonstrated that Routh´s Table is a useful approach for examining stability.
