Abstract :
In this paper, Ultra-wide band antenna with constant gain is proposed. The proposed structure is UWB CPW-circular disc antenna installed above single-layer FSS. As a result, the gain of the UWB antenna has been increased from 2.5dB at lower frequency and 7dB at higher frequency to average of 9dB with maximum variation of 0.5dB across the entire UWB band.
