A Review of 2.4 GHz Transmitters for IEEE 802.15.4 Low Rate WPANs

A review of various models for 2.4 GHz transmitters for IEEE 802.15.4 low rate WPANs has been done in this paper. The study is done to summarize various architectures and models that have been used in developing these transmitters. Several works from the last few years have been studied and their comparison on various performance parameters is shown. This paper starts with the introduction of IEEE 802.15.4 standard for low rate WPANs, followed by the discussion on various transmitter models along with their block diagram. A comparative table is shown at the end.
