Abstract
In this paper, various systematic approaches for design of MIMO (Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output) antenna with negligible mutual coupling has been proposed. The basic single element antenna with multiband operating behavior has been simulated for the total geometry of 55X55 mm2. Multi-antenna configurations with optimum geometry has been then carried out by considering the basic triple band antenna with best isolations between them. Various 2X2 MIMO antenna configurations are simulated with improved excitation isolations are presented. In this article, 2X2 MIMO antenna with triple band operations on a common substrate has been proposed in a MOM based CADFEKO EM-Simulation software. Performance parameter of each MIMO configuration against MC has carried out for 2-element antenna systems yielding highest isolation of-41 dB.
