Abstract :
In today´s modern communication industry, antennas are the most important elements required to create a communication link. Modern telecommunication system requires antennas with wider bandwidth and smaller dimensions than conventional antennas. In this paper antenna has been designed with embedded single u-slot to obtain broadband operation, using double u-slot results in dual band operation with better impedance matching and another H-slot has been incorporated which results in triple band. The designed broadband antenna can be operated at frequency band 3.66-4.80 GHz (26.95%) with centre frequency 4.23 GHz. The dual band operation is achieved using double u slot which operated at frequencies 3.47-3.81 GHz (9.44%) and 4.37-5.02 GHz respectively (13.29%). Another H-slot along with u-slot is cut on the patch and it gives another resonance. Antenna is now triple band operating at frequency 3.34GHz, 4.15GHz and 5.20GHz.
