Abstract :
A new Colpitt´s oscillator using a second-generation current conveyor (CCII) has been investigated with possible higher accuracy and fixed amplitude. The proposed oscillator generates a sinusoidal variable frequency waveform which is suitable for the application in communication, signal processing and instrumentation field. The variable frequency range of the Colpitts oscillator varies from low frequency to the high frequency range with the minimum deviation. The proposed range of this oscillator is 2 Hz - 22.50 MHz. The investigated electrical circuit simulates using PSPICE utilizing bipolar junction transistor (BJT) based on second generation current conveyor (CCII+) with NR100 and PR100 parameter.
