Abstract :
This paper proposes a robust method of controlling a drive so as to counteract parameter errors in PMSMs. The proposed method compensates for these error components on the basis of the phase information of the current vector and the rotor flux vector in the maximum torque control (MTC) frame. Direct torque control (DTC), a PMSM drive system, can realize maximum-torque-per-ampere (MTPA) control by giving an optimal target magnetic flux.
