Abstract :
In the framework of aluminum electrolysis, the goal of the substation is to provide a high amperage direct current. If any delay occurred in generating that current, the consequences on aluminum production may be important. It becomes then a priority to remove that delay. To manage such issue, substation operators are used to manage in manual way to adjust the current which have to be provided. In this paper we propose an automatic method in relation with a global current regulation to manage such ampere hour compensation.
