Abstract :
Commercial radio transceivers are not suitable for impact assessment of power electronics on particular parts of a superheterodyne receiver. Due to these problems we designed and made a simple testing aircraft receiver, which easily allow evaluating of its every part. The receiver itself was simulated in Micro-cap 11 and subsequently realized on PCB and tested in laboratory conditions using common laboratory equipment. On the basis of a previously conducted analysis of immunity of an airborne communication system, against intermodulation distortion caused by power electronic circuits and a proposed methodology of measurement of such distortion we realized a set of measurements using an automatized test bench.
