Abstract :
The use of mobile tracking systems over multiple regions to control, prevent collisions, and guide a multitude of UAVs has been proposed, but one problem with such systems is the issue of registration between the tracks of the different control platforms. While many techniques exist to correct registration between the fusion and sensor platforms, there are few techniques to identify registration and to associate the registered targets. A new registration association technique that maps the kinematics of each track into a rotational and translational invariant image space is considered for three operational conditions scenarios to demonstrate conditions under which that approach will be successful.
