Abstract :
❙ Distributed or Decentralized Network System is a promising communication architecture addressing Small Aircraft Data Network [SADN] ❙ Avionics Controlled Flooding [ACF] is the selected way to manage dataflow on such architecture with: ➢ the maintain of the ARINC 664 key properties ➢ the limitation of the configuration complexity ❙ Poly-Links Control Unit [PCU] is a generic connection solution which: ➢ respects the End System and Intermediate System rules ➢ supports the ACF principles ❙ Advantages: ➢ answer to SWaP constraints with the removal of Switch equipment ➢ intermediate System configuration is reduced ➢ compatibility with different Poly-Links topologies ❙ Simulation is a useful first step to demonstrate the viability of the solution
