  • Abstract
    • Airbus firmly believes that improvement of ATM globally requires further integration of airborne and ground systems with synchronized development roadmaps ➔ Mandates to help on the ground while airborne equipage is achieved through incentives and clear benefits demonstrated to airspace users • A first step is the use of current advanced airborne capabilities while further ATM performance improvements will be based on trajectory sharing for air and ground operations • Worldwide Interoperability will be enhanced by close cooperation between US and Europe (EUROCAE / RTCA, SESAR / NextGen), and collaboration at ICAO level for the development of upfront high level SARPS and procedural enablers
