Abstract
The paper presents developed algorithms for energy efficient sensorless control of pump for hydraulic systems of heating applications. It is presented the complex solution including both robust encoderless PMSM drive control and intelligent master control of hydraulic performance of the pump ensuring transformation of the pump natural hydraulic curve which leads to significant energy savings in the heating applications. Proposed solution has been proved on the laboratory model of the heating system. Achieved results and comparison to fixed speed heating pump are presented including limitations of the developed algorithm and perspective ways of further research.
