Abstract
This paper focuses on the analyses, monitoring & optimization of 132KV grid station using the most modern software ETAP, which performs numerical calculations of large integrated power system with fabulous speed besides, generating output reports like load flow, reliability analysis etc. In a developing country like Pakistan monitoring is made which includes current flowing in every branch, power factor, active and reactive power flow and harmonic distortion etc of large power system, which is helpful in reducing losses. Based upon the recorded data obtained from an actual 132 KV grid, analysis, monitoring and optimization has been implemented on ETAP.
