Abstract :
Broadened concern for global warming and the dearth of fossil fuels, confronted by the world now a day, has added to the worth of renewable energies in order to realize the eradication of energy shortage. In recent times, many new concepts have been proposed by the researchers to achieve the aforementioned goal. Some of them are pavement energy and Road Power Generation (RPG) techniques. Despite of their undeniable potential, many third world countries are reluctant to implement them due to their instability. RPG technology requires serious efforts to be utilized effectively. Up to the time being, frameworks and regulations for RPG development are not wholly ready due to lack of understanding, public criticism and politics. A novel technique known as Hydro Road Power generation (HRPG), has been proposed in this research. The technique has been presented by merging the current existing techniques in power generation sector known as back storage pumping and over topping wave energy converter deployed in hydro power generation and tidal energy respectively. For the sake of back storage pumping, vehicle´s energy has been used to make ersatz water cycle in the lieu of generators. The proposed system has been modeled using bond graph approach. In addition to this, state space model has been achieved and simulated to analyze the stability.
