Abstract :
This paper presents the development and the implementation of a radiolectric coverage calculation algorithm for three-dimensional scenarios. This algorithm computes over Graphic Cards using their special processors, GPUs, Graphical Processing Units. It is based on the Geometrical Optic asymptotic approximation for high frequency electromagnetic propagating fields. This implementation reaches shorter computing times than a similar algorithm designed for and computed on common CPUs, Central Processing Units, as shown and demonstrated in the results of this article. This implementation has been released on a stand-alone library, GraphicOS: Graphical GO Simulations.
