  • Abstract
    We devised low-power digital signal processing LSI and compact optical modulators and receivers for 100 Gb/s coherent CFP (100G Form-factor Pluggable) transceivers. We demonstrated error-free operation in an up to 840-km SMF link with one-third the power consumption compared with a conventional 5×7 inch OIF MSA transceiver.
