Abstract :
In order to host a large scale of distributed energy resources (DER) connected to the distribution network, China is developing active distribution network (ADN) which is proposed by CIGRE C6.11. To enhance the development of ADN in China, the paper proposes the ADN typical systems, which focus on resolving the problems of DER integration. Establishing a common basis for testing DER integration technologies is a significant challenge because DER is too diverse and has some uncertain impacts on the distribution network. The typical systems facilitate the analysis and validation of DER integration. Firstly, the paper analyzes the construction method of the typical systems. Secondly, based on the distribution network characteristics in China, the paper proposes the ADN typical systems, and each system includes typical network structure and load information of each node. Finally, to evaluate the application of the typical systems, the paper designs a simulation model, which is a set of different voltage levels, different loads, and different DER (wind farm, photovoltaic, battery), and the simulation results prove that the typical systems could be a common basis for researching the ADN development in China.
