Abstract :
The paper considers possible future changes based on what is, to what could be within the next ten years and the possible social, legal and ethical considerations. This ranges from the Internet of Things in the home and garden, to changes of entertainment, sport, travel and marketing. Predicted changes in technology supported learning, and the effect it could have on Higher Education globally are considered. Possible changes to our lifestyle relating to day-to-day living, medical intervention and potential legislation are discussed, for both individuals and organisations.
