Procrastination: One of the worst enemies?

Some motivational aspects may influence substantially a person´s study performance in negative way. In our paper we want to analyze some reasons why students put off their study tasks. We conducted 2 surveys (2013 and 2014) using the Lay Procrastination Scale and in-depth interviews to shed more light on the background of procrastination of postgraduate students of the engineering pedagogy study programme. Our results point to some personality traits besides the motivational aspects to promote chronic delay lifestyle.
