Abstract :
An important reason why informatics topics are included into the study programmes of the study fields economy and management on the tertiary level of education (ISCED 6, ISCED 7) is a need to develop students´ computer literacy in general and enhance mainly those from their informatics competencies which have a broad transfer from the point of practice and labour market view, i.e. those which contribute potentially to increase their future job performance in the relevant area of the national economy. In the paper, based on the quantitative analysis, there are presented some of the findings resulted from a broader designed international monitoring, one goal of which was to identify students´ opinions and attitudes to informatics education, they are given in frame of their study programmes, from the point of view of their profilization for their future professional career. The concerned students assessed the informatics subjects from two points of view. On the one hand it was their personal subjective attitude towards the given study subjects (e.g. how favourite, interesting, difficult, useful for them and their future professional career these are) and on the other hand it was their evaluation of the way in which the given subjects are taught in frame of their study programme (e.g. way of the teachers´ presentation and explanation of the subject matter, attractiveness of the tasks solved during the lessons). The key part of the presented findings is devoted to the correlation analysis of the results´ dependence on the factor STUDY FIELD (study profilizations economy and management).
