Abstract :
Engineering Education has always been important in Brazil, but its organization as an established activity started in 1973 with the foundation of ABENGE - the Brazilian Society for Engineering Education. This paper reviews the several activities of ABENGE as well as the measurable results obtained in the strengthening and modernization of this area.
