Abstract
The basic problem of this paper is an estimation of the regenerative braking and downhill driving in terms of the battery electrical vehicle energy saving capabilities. Using an author´s toolkit, the benefits of the DTC control of regeneration upon the scalar one are shown and explained. The propulsion motor drive was experimentally studied on the laboratory imitator.
