Abstract :
This paper presents a research for an advanced driver assistance system. We present a personal design of a driver assistance system for an overtake maneuver on a highway approach. We use two stereo vision systems and two radar sensors to acquire the disparity maps for the vehicle surrounding environment, obstacle detection and representation algorithm and a lane detection algorithm to find our position on the road.
