Abstract :
The cost and need for medical treatment in world is increasing. The major constraint is the space that is available for the treatment. Generally a hospital can only accommodate a few no of patients at a time, but the need is more. And it is impossible to provide individual care taker. To overcome this, a remote patient health care monitoring system is developed using Radio Data System (RDS). Radio data systems used the conventional FM method to transmit the data, but unlike the present analogue FM system the RDS is going to use digital transmission. This RDS can be used to transmit any data using wireless communication over a long distance. This system comes with an encryption and decryption. This patient health care monitoring system will be monitoring the patients health status continuously and transmit it to the physician. The physician will examine the data sent to the physician, he will give advice and some data to the patient, these advices and the data will again be transmitted again to the patient through RDS. When sending the information from the Doctor the information will be encrypted and sent, so that the data is transmitted in a highly secured manner and it is viewed by the concerned patient only.
