Abstract :
An efficient architecture of 1D CSDA MST core is designed using CSDA (Common Sharing Distributed Arithmetic) to attain high-throughput rate associating multistandard transformations at low cost. CSDA is used to conglomerate factor sharing and distributed arithmetic sharing method, in order to reduce the number of adders. The objective of the paper is to reduce the nonzero elements using CSDA algorithm by which the adders required for the adder-tree circuit is reduced. Compared with other architectures available, it has a great improvement in computing speed and reducing area. An error-compensated adder tree (ECAT) is instigated to compact with the truncation errors and to complete low-error and high-throughput discrete cosine transform (DcT) design. The suggested 2D CSDA MST core further reduces the power and thus achieves a high throughput supporting digital cinema and ultrahigh resolution format.
