  • Abstract
    Smart phones are increasingly becoming popular. All Smart phones have rich set of sensors, which can be used to provide driver assistant services. Services such as, road traffic information and road condition monitoring, to provide such services system needs sensors such as GPS, Gyroscope, Accelerometer. Now days Smart phones are coming with these sensors. Smart phone camera sensor, one of the most powerful and neglected Sensor can be used to analyses traffic scene. Generally driver mount his Smart phone on vehicles windshield to get road advice from GPS at the same time Smart phones camera is focusing on road. This camera can grab the content rich information from the scene, information such as traffic scene, traffic signal status, parking availability, Bus timings, Taxi service and speed advisories. Here, we are considering Green Light optimal speed advisories and road condition monitoring using smart phone´s camera, accelerometer, GPS and magnetometer sensor readings. In this paper we have provided different approaches to provide collaborative driver assistant service and identify road surface disruption.
