Abstract :
The problem of axially-symmetric electromagnetic wave diffraction by a perfectly conducting bi-conical surface, one arm of which is a semi-infinite cone and the other is a semi-infinite truncated cone, is solved rigorously using the mode-matching method and the analytical regularization technique. The bi-cone is excited by the ring magnetic source. The coupling of the magnetic field components on the surface of spherical sectors of the bi-cone is analyzed.
